Class of 2010 Senior Portraits

Hello Class of 2010. As for most of you, high school is almost over for you guys and it is quite exciting to be done with it. If you haven't done so already, all of you have taken your yearbook photos all dressed up and such, there is always a bit of a problem with how those photos may possibly turn out.

Being a photographer for a few years now, I am so willing to help out with this problem. One thing that graduating seniors should do is send out those wonderful photos to the friends and family to let them know of your upcoming graduation. And, again, the normal school photos which offer you no creative control or anything like that, can be disappointing. Well I started my own little business to help seniors with this problem by doing their photos for them. For a reasonable price, you will have total control over how you want your photos done, much more time to take them, your choice of outfit(s), and pretty much everything in between.

Here is my full detail about my photography package, strictly for this year's graduating seniors.

$75 Dollars!
-Up to 2 Hours of shooting time
-Location of your choice (as long as it is within reasonable driving distance)
-2-3 Outfit Changes (Casual, Dressy/Formal)
-Complete Editing on Finished Photos with a CD
-Online Viewing Gallery
-2 8x10, 4 5x7's, and 1 Set of Wallets using a finished photo of your choice.

All of this for $75 dollars. That's a deal...but there is more.

Add $25 Dollars...
And you can get a custom made graduation announcement for sending to all family and friends.
-Fully customizable with colors, # of photos, and other information.
-Templates to choose from when available.

So for $100 dollars, you can save yourself a lot of stress and quite a bit of money by allowing me to do your senior photos for you. This is a really important opportunity for me and I promise that I won't let anyone down. Maybe I'll even throw in a few dollars discount for every referral I get from students who have me take their pictures.

Please help to spread the word about this. I would really appreciate if you respond back ASAP. It is, honestly, much easier to get these photos down sooner than later. Much less stress on both you and me.

All of my contact information is posted on the flier above. You can send me an email, a message through MySpace or Facebook, or just give me a call on my cell and we will start to set up these photoshoots.

Much love, thanks and appreciation. :)

Update

Hello everyone.

It has been very long since I have posted any new pictures or updates. I am still alive, but I have just been very busy with lots of fun and exciting activities over the summer. The only thing photography-wise that I have done lately is my cousin's graduation photos and they turned out great.

But I just wanted to leave everyone with that. I'm going to be leaving on a trip for San Francisco tomorrow to check out a future college, so pictures will come most likely near the end of this week for that trip.

Thanks everyone :)

Ruth Concert

I have to say that in all the concerts that I have been to, this was by far my favorite. Last night, I went with a small group of junior highers from our church to Chain Reaction in Anaheim for the first time and went to see Ruth. This was special because the teacher that was there with us is related to the leader singer of Ruth. It was such a fun show because it was more laid back rock and not hardcore (what I'm used to) so I didn't have to worry about drinking or mosh pits. Plus all of the guys from Ruth are the best and such nice people.

To all the guys from Ruth, thank you for putting on a great show last nite and talking to all of us. Good luck with the rest of the tour and we support you greatly. Take all the pictures as you wish.

Here were my favorites =]

Heather's Photoshoot/My Photoshoot

So this was one of the most fun things I have ever done. Not only was it the first time someone had ever done pictures for me, I had a blast just hiking and climbing everywhere to get to certain locations. Heather and I met back in October as we were both in two classes at school together, but didn't even realize it for a while since school started. One of the classes that we were both in was our photography class and she was definitely capable of taking amazing pictures. I don't find myself to be very photogenic at all, but these are so much fun. We returned once again to my favorite spot, Inspiration Point in Newport Beach. But she also suggested Crescent Bay in Laguna Beach. I have to say that this place is now my new favorite spot because it is much more picturesque and I had a blast hiking around the coves to the rocks with the crashing waves. Not to mention spotting a few sea lions off shore and even a jellyfish on shore.

Here are a few of the favorites :)

Inspiration Point Panorama

This is another panorama that I created last Saturday at Inspiration Point in Newport Beach. A much harder panorama to create because of the small details in the rocks and trying to line them up. But it came out pretty good.

Danielle & Jason's Wedding

So this was a much different experience than the last wedding that I did for many reasons:
1. It was for people that I had never met before until that day.
2. I had more experience from last time.
3. I was not the main photographer, but was more of an assistant to another photographer.

The photographer for that wedding is April Smith. I met her online and she gave me much needed advice for my first wedding that I did for my cousin. Then when I went to go actually meet her out in Rancho Cucamonga, she was the sweetest person who is very dedicated to her work and allowed me to come and join her at this wedding. I highly recommend her for your wedding photography! You can visit her website at April Smith Photography

So here are a few select photos that were my favorites.

And to April, thank you so much for allowing me to come and do this with you.

And to Danielle & Jason, thank you for allowing me to be apart of this special day with you two and I wish you the best of luck in your life together.

Hey everyone I'm sorry that I haven't been updating in a while. I've been really busy with school work so that I haven't had any time to post anything. Although I did do another wedding with a real wedding photographer and it was amazing. More on that with those pictures very soon.

Nature's Beauty

So this panorama was created today from a series of photographs that I took in the early evening on Monday after it rained pretty much all day. It was amazing because:
1. I have never seen a full rainbow
2. I have never seen a full rainbow SO CLOSE TO MY HOUSE!!

Amazing what can happen with some sunlight and a few drops of water.

Brittany & Jalynn

So these two are pretty much some of my favorite two sisters in the world. Although they are not my real sisters, i still love them as if they were. We spend way too much time together and do a lot of random things such as watch millions and millions of funny movies, go to Del Taco with the gang, and eating 300 pounds of cupcakes. So I decided to just do a fun "Sister Shoot" for them yesterday and it was fun times. The only bummer part was that the weather wasn't really cooperating very much as it had just stopped raining when we started, but it was very windy later and still REALLY COLD!! But we ended up going to both Bolivar Park and Del Valle Park to do our pictures. They turned out pretty nice and it was definitely one of my favorite shoots that I've done so far. Taking pictures with people who are excited about a lot are always good people to take pictures.

I also decided to take two of Brittany's pictures and get a little artsy with them and continue my Photoshop training.

Finally!!!!!!!!!

I have figured out how to change my blog template and allow for big pictures!! This is exactly what I have been looking for and it has been under my nose the whole time. I'm such an idiot because I didn't figure this out earlier.

And...

I also finally figured out how to post my podcast that me and my good friend Holden do.

Dudes 4 Life Radio

Go listen to it and tell me what you think of it.

The Messenger

This was a different show then the last time I saw the MESSENGER. First of all, the have a new bass player, who used to actually play guitar for THE GREENERY and took over after the former player left. I was up on stage this time doing the pictures which was definitely a fun experience to do. I didn't have to avoid getting killed by flying guitars and a crazy lead singer like last time (love ya Matt :] but at one point, I did get sprayed by some beer so that was pretty crazy. But it was a great show. The left on tour after their show on Wednesday and are playing in Texas tonight. I hope all goes well with them.

Please go and listen to their music and show them support. Buy their CDs and T-Shirts

www.myspace.com/themessenger

P.S.-I'm still trying to figure out how to be able to fit big pictures on my page without them being cut off. I don't know how to do that just yet so bear with me.

Picture Problems

If anyone has noticed that on my last post about THE GREENERY, I'm wondering why the pictures get cut off because they are too big. I don't normally upload them straight from this blog site, but from Photobucket. I don't know why these pictures are acting weird, but when I post a new update, I'll post them straight from here. I would try Flickr too, but there is like an upload limit, so probably not.

Sorry everyone. Still working out the kinks.

Hopefully this picture worked out. This is by far the best shot of the night.

On Wednesday, the Messenger is performing again at diPiazza's so I will be at the show, hopefully. Since their last show there, they have a new bass player, who used to play guitar for the Greenery. Everyone one in this town knows and has connections with everyone. They are leaving for the next month on tour so that should be sweet.

The Greenery

Sorry all that I haven't kept up with any postings lately. There has been a lot of stuff going on with school beginning again and just other conflicts. But I still have been doing photos for now.

Back on December 30th, The Greenery, a local Long Beach hardcore band, had a show at DiPiazzas in Long Beach. This is usually the venue that I will do photoshoots at. The Greenery was actually my first concert shoot way back in August and that was a fun experience, although it was difficult due to being caught in the most pit at one point. This time, I was actually up on the stage taking pictures and that was just as fun.

So here are the favorites. Currently, I am looking to be a photography assistant for someone so if you are interested, please email me at travislariviere11@gmail.com

Finals

Ok so I am now sitting here just before my last class where I will take my last final of the semester. It feels so great to finally be done with all of these finals and be relieved of all the stress these last couple. Now I can just sit back, relax, and enjoynmy nice, long Christmas vacation. I plan probably on Thursday to just cruise down to Downtown Disney and just take pictures and relax. I don't know why I do that, but it is enjoyable and very relaxing for me. This will be a very short update as I am typing this all on my iPod Touch. It's pretty cool. It's somewhat of an "on-the-go" update. Well I'm just about to head into class. Wish me luck on my last test.
